FAQs

Do you rent lighting gear for productions outside of Denver?

Yes! While we primarily serve productions in Denver, our lighting rentals are available for productions across Colorado, including Boulder, Golden, Colorado Springs, and Fort Collins.

What if I don’t see the gear I’m looking for?

We have additional lights and accessories that aren’t listed online. If you’re looking for a specific fixture, modifier, or setup, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’ll help ensure your lighting package meets your production needs.

Do you rent additional modifiers or light-shaping tools?

Yes, we offer a range of light-shaping accessories, including softboxes, lanterns, and butterfly grids, as well as Aputure Spotlight Max kits that feature gobos and iris control for precise lighting. For creative effects, we also offer haze, fog, and DMX-controlled lighting options.

Do you rent camera and rigging support gear?

Absolutely, in addition to lighting, we offer grip truck packages that include grip equipment, such as C-stands, combo stands, grid clamps, and speed rail systems, which can be used to mount lights, diffusion, or even lightweight truss setups. We also provide camera support tools, such as dolly kits, slider stands, and leveling heads, which act as stabilizers or tripod alternatives.

Can I rent lights without the grip truck?

Yes, every fixture and accessory on this page is available as a standalone rental. Many clients rent standalone LED kits, monolights, or up-lights for smaller productions, interviews, and events.

Do you carry truss or larger rigging systems?

We have additional rigging hardware available that isn’t listed on the site. If you need truss, crank stands, or other rigging solutions, reach out, and we’ll confirm availability for your shoot.

Do you carry special effect units?

Yes! We have atmospheric haze and fog effect units available for rent. 

Do you carry strobe lighting for still photography?

Though we primarily focus on continuous film and video lighting, reach out, and we can get the items you need.

Can I add DMX or power distribution gear to my rental?

Definitely, we offer wireless DMX systems, power stations, inverter generators, and distribution accessories to keep your lighting setup running smoothly. Just let us know your power requirements when booking.

Are your lights pre-tested and set-ready?

All lighting units are tested before they leave our shop. We keep everything organized with labeled cases, cables, and diffusion accessories so you can arrive on set ready to roll.

Who can rent lighting equipment?

Our lighting rentals are open to gaffers, production companies, cinematographers, agencies, and independent creatives. We provide professional-grade lighting solutions for video production projects and filmmaking of all sizes.

Do I need a Certificate of Insurance (COI) to rent lighting equipment?

Yes, a valid COI and signed rental agreement are required for all equipment rentals. This helps protect both your production and our gear while it’s out on set.
